THE ANGELUS PRAYER CARD
And the Word was made flesh. And dwelt among us. The Angelus is a traditional Marian devotion that can be recited three times a day, typically at 9:00am, noon, and 6:00pm. The prayer walks us through the Annunciation of the Lord with the Angel Gabriel appearing to Mary, Mary's fiat - her yes to the Lord's plan, and the Incarnation, Passion, and resurrection of our Lord. The lily represents Mary's purity and is often painted in scenes of the Annunciation.
